Fall 2010 Trash Bash is just around the corner. Over 100 trashers will meet at 8:30am and set to the task of cleaning up their mile. Some are high school students who get community credits for their work.  We have free coffee and donuts for all as well as loads of gift certifications that Beautification Volunteer President Deidre Ellis collects around town. Everyone wins and our city really looks beautiful.

Radio Disney at Trash Bash 2009

Radio Disney wins a tree planting in Broken Arrow for having the largest group volunteer for the Spring Trash Bash.

Bags, plastic gloves, orange aprons and precise areas for clean up with directions will all be supplied to anyone willing to help out at the event. Boy Scout troups, church groups and other civic organizations are encouraged to participate.

Additionally we ask Broken Arrow businesses to be responsible for 50 yards left and right of their own entrance for our special clean up day.

City Parks and Recreation will collect filled bags, which the Trash Bash crew leave on their routes.

Adopt-a-mile-park-trail organizations are encouraged to gather on these days to fulfill their clean up obligations.

Trash Bash is a great way for the community to gather together to make a difference.
