Spring Trash Bash is Saturday, April 19 at 8:30 a.m. at the Community Center on South Main Street. The community is invited to help clean up our city with the help of the City Parks and Recreation Department who will supply sacks, orange aprons and gloves. Free coffee and donuts and free pizza from Uncle Vinny's will be supplied for all volunteers. There will be prizes as well. For more information contact bgerber@arvest.com or connect@beautifybrokenarrow.com.

Bags, plastic gloves, orange aprons and precise areas for clean up with directions will all be supplied to anyone willing to help out at the event. Boy Scout troups, church groups and other civic organizations are encouraged to participate.

Additionally we ask Broken Arrow businesses to be responsible for 50 yards left and right of their own entrance for our special clean up day.”

City Parks and Recreation will collect filled bags, which the Trash Bash crew leave on their routes.

Adopt-a-mile-park-trail organizations are encouraged to gather on these days to fulfill their clean up obligations.

Trash Bash is a great way for the community to gather together to make a difference.
