March is Arbor Day Month in Broken Arrow. Various activities involving all in the city are planned.
The Broken Arrow Chamber monthly luncheon will feature a specialist Arbor Forum
Panel discussing planting, pruning, kinds of trees and more.
Various area schools will have special tree programs planned which include actual planting of trees.
A School Essay Program with awards at different levels will be instituted
A sponsored Truckload of Trees will launch the month for planting in designated areas.
