Homeowner Associations can qualify for special recognition from the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce’s Beautification Committee. They will be recognized by the Chamber and the Committee in official meetings and their association will be published on the Web site of the Chamber as well as recognized in the local papers.

Signing up as a qualified association is easy. The committee requests the following:

An entrance photo
Your location and the extent of your association (bordering streets of the association)
5 representative photos of different streets with houses
A photo(s) of any community areas (fields, clubhouse, pool etc.)
Your association size category.
A- Under 300 homes
B - Over 300 homes

Photos may be submitted digitally and must not be altered in any way. A committee member will drive your neighborhood as well.

If you feel your association may not qualify and meet the standards, the Beautification committee has created a program for you and your association members to participate in.
  1. Create a team of 4 to work on your entrance-way. Such work might include mowing, bush or tree planting, repair of entry signage, removal of debris.
  2. Establish a fall and spring pick up day. The City of Broken Arrow will supply gloves, aprons and bags for you. Residents of the neighborhood will gather at a central point on a Saturday at 8:30 am and canvas the streets and about 6 feet into the front yards of resident’s homes. The Beautification committee will support this day with coffee and donuts in the morning and staff directional assistance for the volunteers. Road sections for participants should be less than a mile per participant.
  3. Establish an Association Beauty Patrol program, which carries a continuing responsibility for certain road sections in the neighborhood. The Beautification Committee can help you create this program with the least time and stress to your neighbors.
